my studio space in on the 4th floor
of this old warehouse building (not the one across the street, but the one i'm in now). this is a view out of the window.
i'm lucky, in that i have a fire escape i can get out onto. a lot of
spaces don't even have windows.
another view out of the
window. that bridge is the 405 bridge that crosses the willamette
river. i take that bridge to work on the days i don't ride the
vespa. you can almost see where i work in this photo. see the red
building between the levels of the bridge to the far right? i work a couple of blocks closer to this space from there, but it's hidden behind the
bricks.
if you turn around from standing in
front of the window, you can see the office area. that's my desk poking
out from behind the white partition. around the corner to the left of those brooms leaning against the wall is the main studio space.
this is standing in the doorway to
the studio area looking back at the office area. my space on the left, and
paul's (the guy i share the space with) on the right.
a closer look at my computer and
printer. there's also a scanner under there, but i don't use it as much as
i use to.
turning around from the previous
photo, you see the main studio space. i'm standing in the doorway
seperating the two areas. my half of the space is what you see directly
ahead of you. paul's is to the left.
this is a closer look at my
cluttered space. there's crap all on the floor because i was looking for a
disk in several boxes and i just kinda started pulling things out without
putting them away after i finally found what i was looking for.
standing about in the middle
looking back at paul's very clean area. he makes me sick with all his
neatness. :) actually, he doen't get up here to work very often
because he's really busy with real work. anyway, that's about it for the
space. just for reference, the ceilings are about 9 1/2 feet
tall.
